Must Read, Must Re-Read!

Chan's book challenges me to a more God-centered life of consistent prayer. His book is well written and covers a lot of theology behind prayer (although it is not a theology treatise). He covers lessons from: the Lord's Prayer, the Sermon on the Mount, Hebrews, Ephesians, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, David, Jehoshaphat.Prayer is to be God-centered. He is the God of "how much more" and He is willing. It should start with thanksgiving. Prayer essentially is surrender. Practical stories, humor,
After reading this book, I truly understood the importance and meaning of prayer. It is not so much on asking God to hear us, but to seek His presence and hear Him speak instead. Not only are there important lessons taught from Rev Edmund Chan's stories, but there are also expositions from the Bible which are very well written and explained. Will definitely re-read this book again!
