I really enjoyed seeing the characters develop from what they were at the start to what they become. I also like the moral challenges in the book. For the greater good, but the necessity of sacrifices. One thing that I really liked about this book is in the different scenarios almost every aspect I could think of was covered.The pace of the book

I think it needed more explanation and depth but it was developed enough for the first book in a series. I can't say I liked any of the main characters because Max was mostly the average guy in a sci-fi movie/book and I didn't find him very interesting. Boris Sanders has a very quirky bio, he obviously has a unique perspective and sense of humor which I instantly liked and it made me look forward to reading his book Revelation. When I first read the synopsis I couldnt help thinking of the old series, I Dream of Jeannie; and strangely, even though the worlds could not be further apart in years, technology and society, the thought stayed with me and I have to admit to picturing the characters as they were on TV.
