Commentary During Books The Downfall of a Good Girl (LaBlanc Sisters #1)

Southern debutante Vivienne LaBlanc can't believe bad-boy rock star Connor Mansfield is back in town for the New Orleans annual Saints and Sinners pageant. He has a reputation as wicked as his devilish smile, and Vivi has no intention of becoming one of his latest groupies! He once crushed her high school heart, so playing the saint to Connor's sinner should be easy. But how can Vivi get those less-than-angelic thoughts out of her head-especially when Connor's so good at tempting her to be bad?

Appraise Of Books The Downfall of a Good Girl (LaBlanc Sisters #1)
Good book. Vivienne is a former beauty queen who now owns an art gallery and spends her time working with a lot of charities doing good all around New Orleans. She is always very conscious of her actions and how they could be perceived. She is very proud of the fact that she has been asked to participate in the annual Saints and Sinners pageant. She is not at all happy to find that Connor has also been asked to participate. She and Connor have known each other all their lives and have disliked

Down fall of a Good GirlThe story had an interesting plot, but at times it felt dragged out. I enjoyed the characters and the energy they showed. The romantic aspect was different, at times confusing, but in the end it was sweet and romantic. Over all a good book, just take you time to enjoy it and dont give up when it starts to feel dragged out.

This was a fun, sexy read. I enjoyed the back and forth between Vivi and Connor. Ultimately, that was what made the book for me. They were hot together which was great, but I loved that there was another type of heat between them. From almost enemies to friends to lovers, thats the kind of stuff I love to see in romance novels. I loved the history between the characters. Vivi was holding a serious grudge against Connor and I really felt like she had a good reason, even if no one else thought so.

This is my third book read from the Harlequin Kiss line and Im starting to think that maybe its time to move on. Thats not to say that there is anything particularly wrong with these books but Ive been underwhelmed by the whole lot of them. This book had all of the things that make a great story and it was good but I wasnt completely blown away with the story or the characters. This story follows Vivi LaBlanc and Connor Mansfield as they bumble along their way toward that happy ending. Vivi is an

This is a LOT more New Orleans-y, which is awesome. I think the biggest knock against it is how fast it happens (the entire thing takes place over the four weeks of Mardi Gras), but since the people in question have known each other for years, it bothers me less than it might have elsewhere. I also thought the famous person stuff was done reasonably well, if that's something you're into reading about.

The ending was disappointing but otherwise I enjoyed it.
