More Than Need You (More Than Words #2)
Sixty days. That’s what I’m asking the gritty, independent single mother to give me—twenty-four/seven. Under my roof. And if I have my way, in my bed. Britta says she wants nothing to do with me. But her body language and passionate kisses make her a liar. Now all I have to do is coax her into surrendering to the old magic between us. Once I have her right where I want her, I’ll do whatever it takes to prove I more than need her.
3.75 starsSO SWEET!I did not know how this hero was going to redeem himself after the utter heartbreak he caused. But he persevered, and I applause him for that.Felt a bit too draggy in the middle, but i loved how both the hero and the heroine learnt to trust again.
I detested Britta in this story. I cannot STAND women who use their kids Against another parent and this chick used her child over her exs head till 95% because she was bitter over why they broke up. What a selfish bitch....

~~I read a copy of this book and reviewed it for Wicked Reads ~~This is the second in the series, and although it is a new romance, there is some crossover of time, so do read book 1 first if such things bother you. It will also prepare you a little for the story to come. That said, it is a good story in its own right, so if you can't wait to read Griff and Britta's story. Griffin is a man who has made some pretty epic errors in his life, and finally he is pulling himself together. Then he gets

I've read all the other books in the series and really enjoyed them. This one, not so much. I just couldn't get past what Griffin did to Britta 3 years prior. It's not as bad as what you are lead to believe in book 1 but it's still bad. There is a lot of bitterness and hurt on Britta's side of things. I feel it is very justified, however I did think she took it too far when she try to demand Griffin into giving up his rights as a father. She does eventually agree that their son needs him, but I
Let me start my saying I read a lot, an average of 500 books a years. There are good books, great books and extraordinary books. The same goes with authors. Shayla Black falls easily into the extraordinary category. She is simply a cut above most of the rest of her literary peers. This new series follows in the tradition of Wicked Lovers.Picking up from where More Than Want You leaves off, Griff is reeling after learning of the existence of his 3 year old son with Britta. The realization that he

Explanation In Pursuance Of Books More Than Need You (More Than Words #2)
I’m Griffin Reed—cutthroat entrepreneur and competitive bastard. Trust is a four-letter word and everyone is disposable…except Britta Stone. Three years ago, she was my everything before I stupidly threw her away. I thought I’d paid for my sin in misery—until I learned we have a son. Finding out she’s engaged to a bore who’s rushing her to the altar pisses me off even more. I intend to win her back and raise our boy. I’ll have to get ruthless, of course. Luckily, that’s one of my most singular talents.Sixty days. That’s what I’m asking the gritty, independent single mother to give me—twenty-four/seven. Under my roof. And if I have my way, in my bed.
