I didnt mind the story that the author came up with. The book fails, however, with the execution. The narrative begins being told from the viewpoint of Lisa, but throughout the book changes to a third-person narrative to discuss things that Mary was experiencing. In addition, the entire book is replete with grammatical and spelling mistakes that detract from the enjoyment of the story. I receive this book as a Goodreads Firstreads for an honest review.While I feel the author has something with the story itself, the writing of this book was terribly painful. Misuse of past tense words engulf the book while the narration jumps from being Lisa (the main narrative character's) point of view and a general story. I almost feel like the actual writing was rushed, and while I could feel the passion behind the story, I also felt it was a little whiny. It's told from a 17 year old
