This sequel to High did continue from where the first book ended which helped to remember where I was left at. Zachary Savage's words did not disappoint at all though. His alpha possessiveness, dominant, and controlling tendencies going after Bethany with that mouth of his was indescribable. God the words that leaves his mouth! It was a slow start of cat and mouse until maybe about 30% where it started to get hotter. But then here comes the sex over and over flooding the pages which was starting

Overall I enjoyed the sequel of Higher, more over the character of Zach! The depth of his character presented himself in this book and the reader truly discovered this tortured alphas soul which made this fan even more of a fan! There were times throughout the book I felt it was a bit fragmented in flow however I have nothing but love for Zara and her characters! I was pleased with the conclusion, especially that twist at the end with his ex's mother in law...Zach's secret he kept for her

I loved the first book but this was slow. It dragged for most of the story. We really don't learn anything about the cliff hanger from the first book till the end of this story.
