An amazing introduction to Betty Shreffler and her characters. The story flows gracefully from scene to scene and Betty's descriptive skill is awe-inspiring. You can truly picture in your mind what is happening in the book. I loved the story and the supernatural elements are all explained expertly (because most supernatural 'worlds' do not occur from/with the same circumstances). Anyways, recommend for anyone that loves reading supernatural romance with lots of drama thrown in! Awesome awesome



Awesome I loved this book to. I cant wait to read the second on the series. I love the chemistry tht they have.

This a great paranormal book with vampires, and witches. The main female character Kayci is a strong, independent woman who is kind and caring. The main male character Adrien is a powerful, and protective vampire. The chemistry between to these two is undeniable. All the characters, main and secondary, are all well written and believable. This was my first book by this author. Kayci didnt know about her past; even though, she knew things were different about her. It wasnt until seeing a witch she found out about her bloodline. While it took me awhile to get into this book, I found it interesting when I learned Adrian met his match. How can you not fall in love with the one who saved your life? I am looking forward to reading books two and three. Great paranormal suspense with a new journey into the life of Kayci. A recommended
