Description In Pursuance Of Books The Morganville Vampires, #1-3 (The Morganville Vampires #1-3)
Welcome to Morganville. Just don't stay out after dark - Morganville is a small town filled with unusual characters - when the sun goes down, the bad come out. In Morganville, there is an evil that lurks in the darkest shadows - one that will spill out into the bright light of day. For Claire Danvers, high school was hell, but college may be murder. It was bad enough that she got on the wrong side of Monica, the meanest of the school's mean girls, but now she's got three new roommates, who all have secrets of their own. And the biggest secret of all isn't really a secret, except from Claire: Morganville is run by vampires, and they are hungry for fresh blood.Itemize Books Toward The Morganville Vampires, #1-3 (The Morganville Vampires #1-3)

I had already read (and reviewed) the first of the three books collected here before.I sat down intending to read the second novel and then put this omnibus down for a while before returning to the third ... I failed - and ended up reading "The Dead Girls Dance" and "Midnight Alley" back to back. The "vampire town" of Morganville is an imaginative and unique setting, the secret details of which are slowly revealed throughout the three books. The core cast of four teenage friends are a diverse andI liked it. I just wish that the main character, Claire, was depicted as someone beautiful. Someone who made Monica insecure by her beauty. But I still enjoyed reading the first book and I am almost finished with the second book.

Because there are 3 books in this here are my ratingsGlass Houses-4 and 1/2 starsDead Girls Dance-5 starsMidnight Alley-4 starsI found this in the public library and it sounded awesome. So I read it.
:)
Once again I loved this book!! There are so many secrets in Morganville Rachel Caine has a nack of just giving you a glimpse of what they are and snatching it back....I find myself turning the pages frantically to see what is going to happen. I can't wait for the next installment.
An enjoyable collection of books. I like the way that the writer doesn't take up too much time explaining what has happened in previous books, which I find annoying as 95% of people reading a book in the middle of a series will have read the preceding books. I also find the reduced teen angst, which a lot of teen / young adult fiction is full of refreshing. OK the main character does point out she is nearly 17 a lot, but she isn't spending a large amount of time believing her new relationship
