The Night's Night
“The Night is darker than the Day, or so they say…”
‘The Night’s Night’ is a breathtaking collection of heart pounding short stories from the nooks and crannies of D.B.Tarpley’s demented mind.
-A man jumps into a bottomless pit which lives up to its name.
-A nebbish discovers he has unlimited power, or does the power have him?
-Five men in a hotel room discover that even though you let go of the past it sometimes won’t let go of you.
-A man’s plan to use his testicles for revenge may or may not cut the mustard.
-A woman on a reality show begins to wonder if anyone is really watching.
All told 28 tales of menace, giggles, and mayhem to wreck and rock your fragile twisted mind.
I was am and always will be blown away by my writing. I've said it before and I will say it again, I am my favorite writer. This my longest and most solid collection to date. The stories in here are connected and not just to each other. They are connected to you... they are connected to me... They are connected to Pickles the cat. So sit back, grab the beverage of your choice, pour it over your head and enjoy this read. You can thank me later.
It's always good for an author to love it's own writing, but I can't handle them blowing their own horn. It pisses me off. My finger twitches to press that one star, but I haven't read this alleged masterpiece and now I never will. Kudos Mr. Tarpley.
D B Tarpley is a criminal writer and his writing may be compared to a hammer strike shock therapy. It is a well balanced mixture of brilliant storytelling, originality and provocation. But do not be misled. Somewhere between the lines of his prose one can always find a refreshing truth and wisdom. This is not a cheap flag scandal. No. This is a contemporary, entertaining morality tale, designed to enrich our existance, make you think who you are and who you will never be. Some unexperienced
I was not a huge fan of this book, maybe if he stuck with the story he was telling, a little too much gibberish for me, but I have to surely give credit for his wild imagination..

Narrative Conducive To Books The Night's Night
“D B Tarpley is a criminal… his writing (can) be compared to a hammer strike. It is brilliant storytelling (with) refreshing truth and wisdom… a contemporary, entertaining morality tale, designed to make you think who you are and who you will never be. Some may be repulsed by its strong language (or) dislike the narrator's attitude. Not to be cited on Sunday Mass. (This book is) engineered to ring loudly inside the prison of your mind.” – five star reader review on Goodbooks.“The Night is darker than the Day, or so they say…”
