While I enjoyed the first entry to the series, the second I feel was considerably better, enough so to warrant one more star than its predecessor. The same raw creative energy that the first had is just as strong, but many more the stories feel more like actual stories and less like ideas. All in all, a great collection of flash any horror fan would be hard pressed to find a story or two or several inside that they'll love.Only Some Are WorthyThis is 50 stories written by 50 authors. Some of these stories are definitely horror and some not so much. I do find it interesting that I read a lot of horror but only know one of the authors, Matt Drabble. You'd think I would know more but maybe it's because not a lot of them are very good. That being said, will I read another of these anthologies? Probably not.

I became inspired to write classically-styled short horror after purchasing a collection of old horror tales at a yard sale. The book featured works by F. Marion Crawford, William Hope Hodgson, Seabury Quinn, le Fanu, Robert Chambers, and many other of the early masters.
Most of the stories were good. A few were pointless. A few made no sense.
