Oh this was such a lovely story! I don't read many classics, but this one was something I quite enjoyed. We follow four sisters - Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy in their day-to-day lives during the American Civil war. I can't tell you much about the plot because there isn't really that much going on; the sisters try to work on their faults, meet new friends, have to overcome daily obstacles and deal with their poverty. They learn a lot from their experiences too and it's such a satisfaction watching them
