Narration Conducive To Books Watchmen #1: At Midnight, All The Agents.... (Watchmen #1)

Someone recommended reading THE WATCHMEN to me because I was told it was one of the best out there. After reading the first issue, I now know why.

The illustrations were a bit outdated, but I didn't really mind. I'm more curious as to what happened to the Comedian and why this person thinks someone was out there, killing these retired masked heroes.

From the first page, you immediately know that this series would have a dark theme. I've only read the first issue, but I could already tell, I would not recommend this to younger readers.

Crit Of Books Watchmen #1: At Midnight, All The Agents.... (Watchmen #1)
Interesting beginning. Though it wasn't Great, it made me want to read more. My full review will be on the Watchmen 1-12 book.

[REVIEW FOR THE SERIES...]Watchmen (Vol. 1-12)"Who watches the Watchmen?"Watchmen was a very interesting read and Im glad to have finally gotten around to it. While I really appreciated some aspected such as the gritty world and symbolic, satirical plot line, there were times when it really didnt live up to the hype surrounding it, at least not in my opinion. When compared to V For Vendetta, one of Moores best in my opinion, it just didnt cut it for me, nor strike me with anything really

awesome !!!

Started reading Watchmen today because I believed it to be my civic duty as a comics fan and as a fan of Alan Moore to do so. (More familiar with his Swamp Thing and Promethea run).I of course had seen the Zach Snyder adaptation. It was a seminal (and visceral) piece of film that blew (and scared) my 14 year old mind. But I couldn't help but always hear about this really amazing book it was based on. Even today, I hear more about the book than I do the movie. (Which I still really believe is a

Great starting ..

fuck this fucking book and fuck alan moore oh my fucking g*d the most unsympathetic and the most fake deep characters & writing i've ever seen like for example you're going to tell us everything wrong with the comedian and then try to show him as some sort of hero? go fuck yourself

"Why does one death matter against so many? Because there is good and there is evil, and evil must be punished. Even in the face of armageddon I shall not compromise in this. But there are so many deserving of retribution . . . and there is so little time." (Page 24)
