Whoever these women are, they matter. They matter to Bee. And they are helping Bee realize that she, too, matters to the world--if only she will let herself be a part of it.

I noticed that this book has a solid "4" as its rating by GoodReads readers, but I have to tell you, I LOVED this book. This book is gritty tale about a story of survival under some very adverse situations. I love the main character, Bee, a young girl.
