Explanation Supposing Books Očarovaná
Hana Hindráková was born in 1982, in Trutnov, Czech Republic, in Europe. She spent her childhood there, and graduated at the Business Academy.In 2001 she moved to the city of Prague, and studied International Business, at the University of Economics. In 2005 she successfully passed her Bachelor exams. For her postgraduate studies, she specialized in Tourism, which included Development Studies. This sparked her interest in the African continent.
After her university studies, in 2008, she started her own non-profit organization, caller Fair. Hana visited Kenya seven times, implementing various co-operative projects. She is fascinated with the country and its people, and it provides the setting, for five of her novels - Nobody´s Children, Karibu Kenya, The Volunteer, The Enchanted, and Unbreakable.
Through fiction, Hana draws attention to some of the urgent sociological problems of Kenya - street children, child trafficking, discrimination of HIV-positive people.
In 2012 she authored her debut novel, Nobody´s Children, - ranked alongside some of the bestselling books of Alpress Publishers. In February 2013, the book was nominated to a recognised shortlist of twenty books for Book of the Year - 2012. This book has also been translated into the English language.
In 2012, her manuscript of the book - Karibu Kenya won a competition called - I have a Talent, organized by Euromedia Publishers - 2012.
In January 2014, her book - The Volunteer was published by Alpress Publishers. A year later, in February 2015, her book The Enchanted, followed.
Her book - The Skull Hunters, was published by Grada, in May 2016.
In 2017 her book - Deadly Business, a thriller, set in the backdrop of the African country of Uganda, was published by Alpress Publishers.
In 2018 her novel The Unbreakable was published by Alpress Publishers, in the Czech Republic, and in 2019, by Moran Publishers, Kenya.
Hana Hindráková has researched extensively, documented, and travelled, to many countries including, - most of Europe, the USA, Puerto Rico and the adjacent islands, Cape Verde, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya, Argentina, Chile, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Nepal and New Zealand.
Hana Hindráková lives in a small town, near the European city of Prague.
