Originally bought this for my 8 year old brother. He read it and loved it, so I decided to give it a read. BEST DYSTOPIAN FT DINOSAURS STORY EVER! My brother and I can't wait for the second book in the series. This book was so much fun, I need the next one...like now! The world this book was set in was so scary and beautiful. Sky Mundy has lived in the compound underground all her life. Why? Because 150 years ago scientist brought back Dinosaurs and they now roam the earth. Sure it sounds like a good idea but we all saw Jurassic Park we know how that would end. It wasn't really the Dinosaurs that were the problem with was the bacteria and disease they brought with them. Now the survivors live
Well-written with a well-imagined world. Too low on action to hold my son's interest but I'm keen to read the sequel myself.

Great book by a first time author! Loved the premise of the book and the fact that the main character was a female. This book will appeal to boys and girls alike. It is an exciting page-turner that leaves you wanting more.
Sofia: 5 stars It was a really exciting book and it had lots of action and suspenseEmerson: 4.75 stars. I didnt do five stars because it was a little gross but I liked it yeah
If you are looking for an action packed book with a lot of heart, look no further. Compares with Rick Riordans The Lightening Thief, Edge of Extinction draws you in from the first line and doesnt let you go until the very last page. With a spunky protagonist who finds herself thrust into a world where humans are no longer at the top of the food chain, its a fresh spin on dinosaurs for lovers of Jurassic Park. Even the most reluctant of reader would be hard pressed to put this book down with the

Sky Mundy's mom died when she was born, and her father disappeared on a mission five years ago. She is being grudgingly raised inside the North Compound, one of the underground communities where survivors
