Reading about the relationship that Marcus and Jim establish was quite interesting and the characters themselves were fascinating, each in their own way. Marcus is strong and confident. He goes for exactly what he wants and what he wants is Jim, a professor he meets at a bookstore. I was surprised that this bookstore meeting was enough for Marcus to recognise the submissive traits in Jim and identify him as someone needing a dominant hand. I just saw Jim as a rude and obnoxious customer!He does

I loved this book!!! I really loved everything about it. It is a Sean Michael master piece! I love the intence, beautiful and erotic relationship between Marcus and Jim. I love how Jim has trouble adapting and doesn't just "fall into submission" but demands Marcus to prove to him he is a real Master and work hard to earn his place as Jim's Sir. For example, Marcus gives Jim some eggs to whisk and "Jim nodded, stirring and whistling softly, the sound maddening." What is maddening about whisking eggs? Was the whistling maddening?
