THIS IS THE BEST!

A very imaginative and descriptive story. It is re-telling by Great Atavus of the wonderful but dangerous adventure of two young people. Raven and Le-thon travel through strange lands and face many perils on their quest to save Raven's family captured by N'atax and his army.With fascinating flying things, boar riders, prophecies and talking trees the story reminded me of LOTR and Narnia and even a bit of Avatar. A very good book to read. Not usually into fantasy, but I tried this one out and liked it a lot. I am actually looking forward to reading more books by this author.

It's been awhile since I've read a fantasy novel but I must say that I liked this one. The way it was written was like that of a great storyteller back before books existed and people relied on those storytellers for entertainment.The story is of the evil N'atax who seems bent on world domination, as most bad guys are. :) And of course I love the whole female heroine thing. Definitely up my alley. The author does a fantastic job of detailing and describing the land of Arth as well. All in all I

I guess my biggest issue with this book is that while the story gives the seemings of an epic challenge and adventure, everything is pretty straightforward and easy for our heroes. Given a magic sword, kill all the bad guys, run away just in the nick of time, get to the one area the bad guys won't enter, constantly given advice on how to move forward or where to go, everyone volunteers helpful advice, information, or guidance. From the first page of this book I knew this was going to be like nothing I have ever read before. I loved how descriptive the author was about the landscape and setting and I felt like I was actually there at some points in the novel. I did not love that it was told in the perspective of The Great Atuvus telling the story after much time has passed. I wish it would have been told from Raven's point of view as I love the female heroine storyline. I wish we could have gotten in her head more, but

Being a new author sure has been fun and challenging! My goal as a writer is to tell a story in such a way that the reader can "see" all that is happening and "experience" the tale as it unfolds! Currently writing a trilogy to follow this book. Look for the Legends of Arth Book Two: Daedalus Rises sometime next year. Sooner if I can somehow find the time lol! Enjoy, my friends.
