Weigh Up Regarding Books Moonlight Cove (Chesapeake Shores #6)

Eh. So so. Tedious. Same as all the other chesapeake shores books. Read one, and you already know everyones issues and how the story will unfold.

Something about this one bugged me and I think it is the content about ADHD. If she has a mild case, why is it so life defining? My son has ADHD and not a mild case but I can't see a world where he (or anyone else) is so focused on it that it alters their perceptions and experiences so much. It felt like Sherryl Woods was trying to highlight living with a disorder but it felt overwrought to me. Perhaps if she'd chosen a different illness like major depression or schizophrenia? I don't know but I

I had a hard time finishing this book. It was an audio book and a good part of the problem was the person reading it. I didn't care for her voice and didn't like her inflections. She put emphasis on strange parts of the sentence and did this continually throughout the whole book. However, the writing was the other bad part. There was far too much drama. Every character had some problem or something they were afraid of. It was too much. The main character had ADD and the author made this out to

I enjoyed this but it did get a bit tedious toward the end.

I'm so disappointed. I really wanted to like this audiobook, unfortunately this novel fell low.It was a little more predictable than I expected and the main female character is supposed to be written as strong and independent but comes across as whiny and annoying and childish and her annoying blaming everything on her ADD was used to the max. I don't think this girl would know what love is if it slapped her in the face. I skipped a lot of story, Idid not care what happen in it. The ending was

I completely understand that an author follows a pattern once the find one that works, but these books have gotten way too predictable with too little substance. In this book, we constantly read about Jess struggling with ADD, no matter how mild, and it counts as her excuse for everything. The side story of Connie and Thomas was much more interesting und developed better than the rest of the book.

This is the story of Jess O'Brien and Will Lincoln who have known each other since childhood. Will has been in love with Jess since he was 14 but Jess doesn't see the man only his profession which is psychologist. Jess has ADD and feelings of abandonment so has real problems with giving her heart to anyone. The book also continues the story of Thomas O'Brien who is Jess uncle and Connie who is a friend of Jess. The book was a quick easy read.
