It was stupid of him to stay for a private drink with the boardinghouse owner, but I was so glad he turned down her advances. He acted like he didnt have a lot of money, but then offered to by luke clothes, a stay at the inn, and a haircut. &passage back home. &did he even get his money back at the inn for not staying that last night there? He also bought a wagon of supplies and offered it to the brothers if they didnt end up working for his dad. Sounds like someone with money to spare.U

A truly entertaining read. The interpersonal relationships between characters is strong, realistic and totally believable. A.H. Holt's characters are strong and well defined and her sense of 'flow' is remarkable. Don't miss this one!

Blanco SolKing Sutherland was dead, except he wasn't, he's been gravelly injured in the line of duty. All he wanted was to get back home to the ranch. The war was finally over, but the fight to reclaim his life has just begun the very second that he sets door in the Blanco Sol. BRAVO 👏👏BRAVO 👏 GREAT READ!!!!
